After 13 years on Lough Derg Ireland we moved to the Upper Lough Erne Northern Ireland, just 15 minutes over the borderline, but it feels already like home!
Main reason, I lived there for 22 years in Killaloe, Co. Clare but it was time for a change for me. Not so big as moving from the Netherlands to Ireland, but moving house gives always a little bit stress even for this big Dutch guy!
So a new Lough, new rules (UK) …. everything new BUT not the Watermill fishing Lodge sponsor for years will be now the Home of the Predator Battle Ireland.
The day before the 3 competition days we will have the sign-in & team meeting, collecting your measuring board and your map with information.
Further some extra information with a slideshow to fresh up the rules.

The first Prize of 2025 again from Alumacraft Europe the Escape 165 CS in white “on the last moment” with a powerful Suzuki 50 hp. The boat trailer is tailor made for Alumacraft by Kalf trailers.
The total amount to give away this year 64000 Euro wow.
The Upper Lough Erne is ready for it, hope all participants as well because they have 3 days to catch 6 pike, 3 perch and 1 trout, total length makes the winner.
We have an Catch Photo Video and Release system what means that you have to make a photo and video (alive) of your fish as proof

The boat check was horrible! I arrived as one of the first ones at the checkpoint 7am, and the bloody rain had us totally wet in frecking 15 minutes….grrr. Dog weather they say so this dog had no problems with it or whatsoever.
