PREDATOR BATTLE IRELAND 2025 Day 2 done, see results.

The boat check was horrible! I arrived as one of the first ones at the checkpoint 7am, and the bloody rain had us totally wet in frecking 15 minutes….grrr. Dog weather they say so this dog had no problems with it or whatsoever.

For today we closed section C of the lough +/- 35%. The wind was just to strong and of course the guys with the serious big boats weren’t happy but i have to keep an eye on the smallest boats! ( Safety first) Hoping we could reopen it later but not a hope!

The fishing was really poor, the lough changed in coffee so only 57 fish brought in today …52 boats …biggest 110cm.

The top had a big chance anyway check the list after day 2.

The weather in the final day looks good so the whole competition area will be easy for them all, may the best team win!

PREDATOR BATTLE IRELAND 2025 READY TO GO!

All ready for the “Predator Battle Ireland 2025” today 13 September we had the sign-in. Meeting all the teams who have had to collect their measuring board & a map of the lake with some rules as extra reminder.

Weather forecast…not the best weather but we keep an eye on it day by day! So tomorrow we finally can start the battle!

The battle will be fished over 3 competition days, on 14, 15 & 16 September from 9am. Till 5pm. sharp! Lees verder “PREDATOR BATTLE IRELAND 2025 READY TO GO!”

PREDATOR BATTLE IRELAND 2025. Edition 14 will start soon with a big change!

After 13 years on Lough Derg Ireland we moved to the Upper Lough Erne Northern Ireland, just 15 minutes over the borderline, but it feels already like home!

Main reason, I lived there for 22 years in Killaloe, Co. Clare but it was time for a change for me. Not so big as moving from the Netherlands to Ireland, but moving house gives always a little bit stress even for this big Dutch guy!

So a new Lough, new rules (UK) …. everything new BUT not the Watermill fishing Lodge sponsor for years will be now the Home of the Predator Battle Ireland.

The day before the 3 competition days we will have the sign-in & team meeting, collecting your measuring board and your map with information.

Further some extra information with a slideshow to fresh up the rules.
After that we have loads of free goodies for all participants from www.bkkhooks.com with all kind of products, www.dennettoutdoor.com with free Buster jerks of Strike Pro with our name on it. www.rozemeijer.com will give away their famous shad “the Paddle”

The first Prize of 2025 again from Alumacraft Europe the Escape 165 CS in white “on the last moment” with a powerful Suzuki 50 hp. The boat trailer is tailor made for Alumacraft by Kalf trailers.

The total amount to give away this year 64000 Euro wow.

The Upper Lough Erne is ready for it, hope all participants as well because they have 3 days to catch 6 pike, 3 perch and 1 trout, total length makes the winner.
We have an Catch Photo Video and Release system what means that you have to make a photo and video (alive) of your fish as proof

DAY 3: THE FINAL DAY OF THE PREDATOR BATTLE IRELAND 2024.

And again a tropical day but with more pressure on the teams! The top 10 had to fight for the first place, and other need a trout or a perch for the full house.
But it was a hot day again, the only difference was that the morning had a good breeze for more activity of the fish…any fish!
