With great pleasure, we introduce the 2017 Hobie Fishing European Champion… Mr. Albin Falk from Sweden. Albin caught a total of 458 centimeters of fish over two days on the Vinkeveense Plassen, which put him above the other 56 competitors winning the title of European Champion!
“Wow! This is so cool! I’m European Champion! It is so cool that I was the best of all these amazing anglers this weekend.” Albin says. “I can represent my country during the Hobie Fishing Worlds held in Sweden, my home country, together with my best friend.”

Afgelopen zondag 27 augustus landde het streetfishing circus in onze regeringsstad Den Haag. Den Haag maakt al jaren deel uit van de nationale competitie van 
15 top vissers, 15 Marshals, 15 journalisten. Casting only, Cranks only, No trolling! Op 5 en 6 oktober zullen 15 voormalige winnaars van diverse internationale competities het opnemen tegen elkaar. En dit keer niet met z’n tweeën in een boot, maar alleen. Zelf alles alleen doen onder toeziend oog van een Marshal. Eigenlijk hetzelfde als in de VS. Geen foto’s maken, meten, oppassen waar je wel of niet mag komen… gewoon puur vissen.
