In dit nieuwe artikel zetten we graag onze de absoluut iconische bouwer Arjan Willemsen (NL) opnieuw in de kijker want niet alleen hebben we zonet een grote restock van zijn aasjes in de shop, we introduceerden ook zijn fantastische ‘Hammer’!
Arjan is al lang een bekende naam in de wereld van snoekvisserij en het bouwen van kunstaas. Hij is ook de eerste die in de lage landen kunstaas heeft vervaardigd uit hard plastic en daarmee ook een gigantische invloed heeft gehad op het snoekvissen en lurebuilding in het algemeen.
Hammer 15cm – 50g
Deze kunstoffen ‘Hammer’ vis je best met halen van 1 m lang en telkens weer laten afzakken. Hij is zinkend uitgelood dus inzetbaat op alle dieptes en gekend voor zijn trage wobble.
De ‘Hammer’ is zoals geweten een afgeleide van US musky baits en ook al is Arjan’s versie slechts 15cm, de aantrekkingskracht door zijn actie op snoeken groot en klein is gigantisch! Halve Liter en Kwart Liter jerkbait 14/11cm – 45/30g
Er zijn maar weinig bekendere en meer iconische jerkbaits die vanuit Nederland komen dan de ‘Halve Liter’ en zn kleinere versie de ‘Kwart Liter’. De eerste jerkbait die verkrijgbaar was in harde plastic en tot op heden nog steeds een vanger! De invloed die deze ‘halve liter’ heeft gehad op de evolutie op luremaking is ongezien.

Flipper flanker 11.5cm – 30g
Voor velen een van de allerbest vangende snoekaasjes van Arjan, die je zowel op klein als groot water kan inzetten. Geen typische jerkbait maar eentje met serieuze flankende eigenschappen. Wowijsje jerkbait 8.3cm – 145g
Het ‘Wowijsje’ is een echte allesvanger. Levendige actie zoals een kleine aasvis die probeert weg te vluchten. Let maar op, want deze klassieker vangt snoek, baars en zelfs forel en nog vaak de grote ook!

The best handmade baits from Europe keep coming in and now you can fish with them too! In this new article we would like to put the spotlight on our absolutely iconic builder Arjan Willemsen (NL) again because not only do we have a big restock of his baits in the shop, we also introduced his fantastic ‘Hammer’!
Arjan has long been a household name in the world of pike fishing and lure building. He was also the first in the Netherlands to make hard plastic lures and has had a huge influence on pike fishing and lure building in general.
Hammer 15cm – 50g
This plastic ‘Hammer’ is best fished with 1m long strokes and let it sink again and again. It is weighted sinking so it can be used at all depths and is known for its slow wobble.
The ‘Hammer’ is known to be a derivative of US musky baits and even though Arjan’s version is only 15cm, the attraction due to its action on pike large and small is enormous!

Halve Liter and Kwart Liter jerkbait 14/11cm – 45/30g
There are few more famous and iconic jerkbaits to come out of the Netherlands than the ‘Half Liter’ and its smaller version the ‘Quarter Liter’. The first jerkbait that was available in hard plastic and still a catcher to this day!
The influence that this ‘half liter’ has had on the evolution of luremaking is unseen. This classic should actually be in everyone’s tackle box! Now available in 2 sizes in our shop!
Flipper flanker 11.5cm – 30g
For many, one of the best catching pike baits from Arjan, which you can use on both small and large waters. Not a typical jerkbait but one with serious flanking properties. Even large muskies have been caught on it as far as Canada. The attraction to this ‘Flipper’ is simply extraordinary! Check them here!
Wowijsje jerkbait 8.3cm – 145g
The ‘Wowijsje’ is a real all-rounder. Lively action like a small baitfish trying to escape. Just watch out, because this classic catches pike, perch and even trout and often the big ones too! An ideal small jerkbait that can easily be fished on a spinning rod by everyone! Check them here!
